Six Sigma certification alone doesn't set your salary, role, industry, city and experience do, but Green Belt and Black Belt holders in quality, operations and process-excellence roles typically command a premium over uncertified peers in the same role, and the certification is often a stated requirement for process-excellence and quality-manager job postings in India.
Why we're not publishing a single salary number
Any single all-India average salary figure for 'Six Sigma professionals' is misleading, a Green Belt-certified quality engineer in a Tier-2 manufacturing plant and a Black Belt-certified process-excellence manager at a Bengaluru IT services firm are not comparable roles. What actually moves the number
