Choose live online for the best balance of flexibility and real-time mentor interaction, traditional classroom if you learn best with in-person practice and networking, and on-site if you're training a team together as an organization. Every format at SigmaCS is live and instructor-led, there is no self-paced or pre-recorded track.
Three delivery modes, all live and instructor-led
All three modes cover the same certification syllabus at Sigma Consulting Services, the difference is location and format, not content depth or instructor access. We deliberately don't offer a self-paced or pre-recorded track: every batch has a live Black Belt or Master Black Belt mentor running sessions and reviewing your DMAIC project in real time.
How to actually decide
If you're a working professional in a different time zone from your mentor, live online with worldwide scheduling is usually the practical choice, it's the only format that doesn't require travel or a fixed local classroom slot.
If you learn better with in-person practice, whiteboard sessions and networking with a cohort, traditional classroom delivers the same live curriculum with that dynamic, at the cost of a fixed schedule and location.
If you're certifying a team together, on-site is usually the right call regardless of learning-style preference, it lets you customize examples to your organization's real processes and keeps the whole cohort working from the same shared vocabulary from day one.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer a self-paced or recorded certificate track?
No. Every SigmaCS batch, live online, classroom or on-site, is delivered live by a Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified mentor. What matters most to employers is accreditation and whether you completed a real DMAIC project, and live formats make it easier to get mentor feedback on your project as you go.
Does the certificate look different depending on delivery mode?
No, the certification, curriculum and CSSC accreditation are identical regardless of delivery mode, your certificate doesn't note whether you attended live online, classroom or on-site.
Can I switch delivery mode partway through a course?
Generally not mid-batch, since cohorts are scheduled together, but you can choose a different mode for your next belt level, ask us when you enquire if your circumstances change.
Is on-site training only available for large teams?
No, on-site delivery is available for any belt level and team size, though it's most cost-effective for cohorts of 5 or more given the trainer travel involved.
